WORTHING ACCOUNTANTS – Based in the heart of Worthing, West Sussex, serving the core of our accountancy, personal tax returns and corporation tax returns to businesses and individuals in the local worthing and surrounding areas.
The business was originally founded by David Jarman in 1998 after his many years experience inside larger accounting, auditing and taxation practices. David decided that a he could offer a higher level of accountancy service to small and medium sized businesses by forming and establishing closer relationships with clients. This closer relationship meant his accounting practice better understood his clients accounting needs. Understanding and identifying a clients accounting needs and its businesses critical success factors is essential for both established and growing businesses.
David also observed that a lot of client’s time and money was being lost due to the segregation of different accounting responsibilities in different places (one business was performing the record keeping, another the payroll, another the statutory accounts and taxation.) This often meant that clients were suffering the cost of duplicated work. David therefore set out to ensure that he could provide all these services in collaboration with one another in one office.
With the above in mind David formed a local accounting practice in Worthing with the aim of working closer with its client’s and serving all of their accountancy and taxation needs under one roof.
David Jarman Accountants team is qualified to a minimum of degree level. Accountancy examinations successfully achieved in the office include AAT and ACCA (Non active members).
David
David specialises in statutory accounts and tax return preparation of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. He is also responsible for client systems design as well as maximising his client profits and wealth through effective tax planning and business structures.
Born and raised on Shoreham Beach and now living in High Salvington,Worthing. His spare time is enjoyed with his family. Most of it is centred around sports, in particular Football, Tennis, and Golf.
David and his son are season ticket holders at Brighton and Hove Albion FC, where they are often found kneeling and praying for a win.
Amanda
Amanda is the office manager who characterises the true essence of the professionalism, commitment and efficiency that we expect and takes this onto her approach to the office responsibilities. She specialises in Book-keeping, PAYE, CIS, VAT and Management Accounts preparation.
In her spare time she enjoys DIY, reading, gardening and the arts and crafts.
Rachael
Rachael’s professionalism and years of experience mean that she is a true asset to any business. She characterises the high level of service that we aim to supply to clients. Rachael helps to devise effective and efficient business accounting and financial systems, she also specialises in financial reporting to management as well as book-keeping and administration of PAYE and VAT.
Rachael spends all her spare time with her daughter enjoying arts and crafts. She is also an expert in face painting should any of our clients require this additional service.
